Wow... i just came back from a 2 1/2 hr introduction seminar conducted by Stuart Tan. It's my 2nd visit there.
Well, basically it's a preview to the internet marketing academy course that they are offering. On my 1st visit, I was interested to sign up, but due to the M factor, I hesitated and wanted more time to decide whether if this is really what I want.

After much thinking and discussing with parents & friends, I had sort of made up my mind to sign up. "Sort of" meaning, it's 80% confirmed in my mind. Anyway, i went to email to the academy, the 1st email reply was pretty fast, as all they did was to attach the application form and the intake schedule. When I was looking at the application form, the price stated was $500 more than what I heard during the preview. So I emailed back to ask them to confirm on the price.

That was abt 2 weeks ago. No reply from them. Confidence level dropped.... because of the service standard.
I was thinking, perhaps I must really sign up during the preview in order to get the cheaper price. Then again, there wasn't any info of when is the next preview and if I can still make it for the August intake by the time they organise the next preview.


2 days ago, while i was surfing Stuart Tan's website, I noticed that they are holding the preview today, 15 Aug. Good news is, i managed to up the 80% thoughts to action, i.e. sign up AND pay for the course.

When I reached home, I checked my email and guess what I saw. They replied today afternoon to inform that they can hold the preview price for me. Duh..... if I'm informed earlier, I wouldn't need to go for the seminar again.

Nevertheless, since I had paid for the course, can't think so much of negative thoughts now.
I MUST LOOK FORWARD FOR THE COURSE!!!!!!!!!!

I have always feel that those who donate blood are very noble ever since young. There is a chinese saying "Saving a life is more honorable that building a seven-storey pagoda".

These days, demand of blood from accident victim, patients undergoing major surgery, etc is high, and yet number of people donating blood is not enough to meet the high demand.

My first blood donation was last year in 2006. It could have started earlier, if not for my fear. I had heard many stories, stories which are of negative nature.... "the nurse anyhow poke until my arm blue-black...", " the nurse had to poke a few times on both arms ... " , "it was so painful.." , "you shd have seen how long and thick the needle is...".

So, how then did I finally went for my 1st blood donation?
Well... every year, my company will have 4 blood donation drives. I was stationed at a branch, and the donation drive was previously available only at the headquarters. Last year, the company organised the 1st donation drive at branches. Thus, persuaded by my colleagues, I went for the donation! and I never regret it.
Contrary to the beliefs, it wasn't THAT painful, and the nurse only poke the needle once on my arm. I guess, the trick is to tell the staff that you are a first-timer, pls arrange for an experienced nurse. hahaha.





I registered for my 2nd donation, but was rejected due to low iron count. Disappointed. Nevertheless, i'll take more supplements to up my iron count to go for the next donation drive.

Me too, while Singapore's changing, I'm looking ahead that in the near future, I will be embarking on a different journey. Pretty tough, but I'm ready to take off!
